🪓 Logging Show weekend in Deming! 🪓

Our members at Whatcom County Fire District 1 swung by the grounds this weekend, handing out stickers to future little loggers and pre-planning for any emergencies during the event. Scoping out access ahead of time is crucial. In an emergency, every second counts.

Best of all? Getting face to face with the neighbors they swore an oath to protect, and making sure folks know their crews are always there when it matters most. It's Logging Show weekend!!
This weekend is one of our favorite weekends of the year!

Today's Crew swung by the Logging Show grounds in Deming this afternoon and not only did they pass out a LOT of stickers to precious future little loggers, they had the opportunity to pre-plan should the event or a patron have any sort of emergency.

Pre-Planning allows our crews to prepare ahead of time for any sort of emergency they may face.

During an emergency, time is of the essence and scoping out access to large events like this is crucial!

They also get to mingle with staff and get the "scoop" on the event, locked access during off hours, if any of their personnel are medically trained, and more!

But, if we're being honest, the VERY best thing about these kinds of events is having the opportunity to mingle with our neighbors, the ones we swore an oath to protect. We get the chance to be face to face with the humans that support us and ensure that they know we are always there for them when they need us most.

Have a phenomenal weekend neighbors!
