If you live in Birch Bay, Blaine, Lynden, Custer, Greenwood, Semiahmoo and Wiser Lake areas then Whatcom County Fire District 21 is YOUR Fire Department. They are called North Whatcom Fire and Rescue.

On August 6 you will be asked to RENEW your critical funding that help provide those important services. In order to meet increasing service demands, population growth, and ensure your firefighters have the necessary tools, equipment, and facilities to provide you the highest level of fire and emergency medical services, your support is necessary. THIS IS NOT A NEW TAX or FUNDING measure. Help us inform the rest!

Approval will provide more firefighters, another response unit to address the almost 50% increase in 911 calls in the last 10 years, and important funding to ensure we can address the facilities for which all these resources are housed.
