Local 106 was honored to stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Idaho this past week as we paid tribute to the fallen firefighters from Locals 710 and 2856.

In the face of unimaginable loss, these Locals demonstrated incredible strength—and we were proud to answer the call to support them.

In partnership with the Bellingham Whatcom Firefighters Benevolent Foundation, our union contributed to both the families and the memorial efforts. These contributions were made possible by our dues-paying members and all who continue to support the Benevolent Foundation—thank you for making this vital support possible.

We extend our deepest thanks to the five members of Local 106 who traveled to Idaho to represent our Local at the services. Their presence was a powerful reminder of the unity, respect, and brotherhood that define the fire service.
